Save These Dates for the 2012 Hogansville Hummingbird Festival!
Where does the money go?
The Hummingbird Festival is a fundraiser for the non-profit Hogansville Charitable Trust. The funds raised by the Trust are used to beautify and
improve the hometown we love! Over the last 15 years, the Trust has
donated over $100,000 to the City of Hogansville for
downtown redevelopment. These funds are matched with state and federal grants to
improve the downtown environment. The festival has also raised funds for local organizations such as the Boys & Girls Club of Hogansville and God's Bread Basket.
In 2010, the city completed Phase One of the Hogansville Tower Trail. The Tower Trail begins with a trailhead near the amphitheater next to the Crocker Elementary school and winds up to the old water tower. The tower was built in the 1920's and resembles an old Irish stone castle battlement. Future phases, already underway, will complete the trail, which will eventually end at the water plant on Oak Street.

The Hummingbird Festival takes pride in having a well balanced, diverse, and high quality group of vendors offering quality goods that cannot be found just anywhere. Many vendors choose to come back year after year, but we are always interested in meeting new people who are interested in the Hummingbird Festival.
